There is no magic answer. Some people lose the baby weight easier than others. The best advice will be healthy diet and exercise (assuming you are medically cleared for exercise). Any kind of cardio like running or swimming in combination with abdomin-specific exercise (don't worry not just sit-ups, there are several stomach exercises to choose from) will get it jump started for sure.

I had a real problem when my son got infected with the stomach bug.He had a severe diarrhea whereby every 40 minutes he release fluids. A swell you could have seen the movement of the stomach cramping. When it initially started he was also vomiting but a treatment stopped the vomiting after a day or two.

Stomach virus is a real problem and wish that on no child

The virus will be found in any of his bodily fluids and he will remain contagious for up to 72 hours after his symptoms have disappeared. Just disinfect the surfaces he touched just to be on the safe side. Usually if you have caught the virus symptoms will show within 48 hours -72 hours after infection, so when was the time you last saw him? Generally speaking the virus is concentrated to be in the urine and feaces of the child, but considering babies hands are everywhere just by touching him and then eating something without washing your hands could put you at risk. The stomach bugs aren't really harmful, just horrible to have! The hayfever won't make any difference to this situation, it won't make you more or less likely to get the virus.

it is very important to drink enough fluids when the little ones suffer from diarrhea to avoid dehydration. I would not wish any baby the suffering of diarrhea.

Absolutely. Giving fluids must be considered if there is vomiting or diarrhea.

If the little one is old enough to eat, Applesauce will usually stay down and provide a little nourishment.

I am expecting a baby and I really hope that all this bad stuff won't happen to him. I would die if I will get to see him hurting. :(
