True flu has no gastric components…just high fever, not wanting to eat, headache and general body ache (a.k.a. you feel like sh*t for several days)…one has 24-48 hours to get to a doc for an antiviral that may or may not help reduce the severity of symptoms or shorten the length you have the flu…antibiotics will do NOTHING for this is a viral infection.

stomach viruses are the fucking worst! diarrhea for days, dehydration, and nausea. i teach pre-k so i know where this came from. come monday, first thing i’m doing is sanitizing my classroom and then my home. this is the worst sickness i have felt in such a long time. i don’t wish this on my worst enemy. stomach problems are agony!
