How to treat my toddlers stomach flu

Do not give your toddlers a food or liquid because it is tender at this point. Keep the surroundings clean and your baby. Breast feeding is excellent for your child. When your child stops vomiting you can introduce soft foods. Consult your doctor if the child does not feel better.

  1. Can you explain what is the difference between stomach flu and a stomach virus? One of the kids in my baby’s daycare has a GI problem and I want to make sure we are doing everything we can to do to keep her healthy. We try to do everything right giving her organic food and clothing, a lot of hand washing, and making sure she stays warm enough, but I feel like there is nothing we can do when the other kids around her are sick.

    Thank you!
