The most important thing to do when you get the flu is to get plenty of rest. Because the flu is highly contagious, you should avoid other people until you are feeling better.

The flu is often confused with the common cold, but flu symptoms are usually more severe than the typical sneezing and stuffiness of a cold.

“The main symptoms of the flu virus are…” basically anything that makes you feel bad, without internal bleeding or aliens coming out of your stomach. Wouldn’t you say that this diagnosis is not that helpful for distinguishing the flu from a stomach virus, a common cold, or pneumonia?

    Please clarify.
    Thanks, Birdy
