How is avian influenza transmitted between people
The avian flu spreads to humans when they directly come in contact with the poultry or any virus contaminated surfaces.But in case of transmisson between people,the air plays a vital role coz it is an air-borne disease.Therefore, it is transmitted through coughing, sneezing and via nasal and oral contact.

I find it particularly important to be aware of your surroundings during flu season. If your co-workers are coughing a lot or sneezing frequently, you may need to seek an alternate spot to sit until they have overcome their cold. Ask your supervisor if there is a place that you can sit and work when you’re not sharing air with the infected co-worker. They should be happy to accommodate you.
