How much water can your stomach hold?
Most commonly a stomach can hold up to 1.5 liters of water. But the overall holding capacity of the stomach is about 4 to 4.5 liters(food and water). Hence a stomach can expand to accomodate more. However, this process may cause a problem with respiration and could be unhealthy.
