Howto treat a stomach virus in a child
First things first – consult a doctor, make your child comfortable – set up a cozy spot for them on the couch or in their bed. If you child is vomiting, have the bowl/bucket on the ready! Diet such as Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast if they’re able to keep food down. Keep cool rags nearby (wipe their forehead, inner arms, tops of feet, and back/chest) in case of fever. Offer drinks frequently. Encourage rest and be patient with the children.
