Nice blog, I’ve had a hearing loss for most of my adult life and have recently bought hearing aids, being a first time wearing of hearing aids I I struggled with them and it took me a while to get used too but with some time and determination I have finally started to reap the benefits. I would struggle now without them, if your put off by wearing hearing aids I would tell you to look for a local hearing aid dispenser, get the best advice you can and buy the best technology your budget will allow, you must allow some time to get used to all those sounds you hear which can be strange at first.
