Can you catch the same strain of influenza twice?
No its not likely that you be affected by the same strain of Virus(Influenza) twice. The first time you get an influenza from a strain your body generates antibodies and it is able to resist the strain the next time. However there has been cases when the same strain of virus has mutated.

Influenza cannot be prevent3ed. it does not mean that if you had an influenza you will no longer have it again.

I believe that you can still have the same strain most especially if the immune system of the bidy is very low and the antibodies are not enough to support the body.
