How long does it take a stomach ulcer to heal?
Generally the time duration is 4-6 weeks with proper medications and treatment. Prilosec can work in some cases, It is better you take your doctors advice on this.

Iam asking about ulcers because my husband just found out he has ulcers. I really would like to know how long it takes to heal? Would like to know if anyone has healed within 4to6 weeks.

Hello,
I was diagnosed with a large gastric ulcer about almost 8 weeks ago and am on medication and still have not healed. I go for another endoscopy in another month. To see if I have shown any progeress in healing. Hope this helps.

I have been suffering from stomach ulcer for the past four years. but whenever i do an endoscopy the doctor finds nothing in my stomach-no cut or wound. what should I do to get rid of this chronic ache and pain? Thank you. Clement
